Green Hell

Green Hell cover

Green Hell is an adventure survival game. The game starts with you waking up in the middle of the Amazon with two goals, 1) survive and 2) to work out why you are there.

To survive you need the basics, food, water, fire and weapons.

The Amazon is a dangerous place with many things ready to cause you harm. Spiders, rattle snakes, black caiman, stingrays, cougar, puma, leopards, natives are all set on killing you.

Green Hell holds many secrets for you to discover while on your journey to find why you are there. The main story itself, to me, was captivating with a few very well placed twists that I did not see coming. It had me thinking one thing only to reveal how very wrong I was.

I played Green hell with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed the game. If you are looking for a good survival game with a realy good story, and you don't mind dying a bit you may enjoy this.

Once Human

Once Human cover

Once Human is a multiplayer open-world survival crafting game. You begin your journey in an apocalyptic world that has been affected by stardust which has mutated people and animals into monsters/deviants.

As you work your way from settlement to settlement killing these monsters and collecting everything you can to craft better equipment, you will come across rift anchors that need to be activated in order to unlock the monoliths which hold the bosses.

There are also many mini bosses throughout the world and many dungeons to explore, most of which have secret areas with a second boss.

While exploring you will have chances to capture deviations (helpful monsters) that can be housed in special containment units in your base. These deviations will help around your base, produce items to craft things with or help you fight.

Baldurs Gate 3

Baldurs gate 3 cover

Baldurs Gate 3 is a party, turn based Dungeons and Dragons RPG. You begin in the depths of the Nautiloid, an alien spacecraft that is piloted by a squid like creature called an ilithid.

This creature infects you with a parisite that, over time, turns it's host into a mind flayer.

After you are infected the Nautiloid crashes and you set out to find a cure before you are fully transformed. While searching for a cure you meet up with several other people who are also infected and with these people form your team ready for battle.

Every choice you make can and will affect the outcome of the game and can be the difference between life and death. Most choices are determined by a roll of a dice. The combat is turn based which I wasn't too keen on before playing but it did kind of grow on me.

Ultimately Baldurs gate 3 is a fun game with no two playthroughs being the same the characters ar quirky and fun to deal with. If you are not used to the style of play it can take a bit grasp but once you do its quiet enjoyable.
